Clear Landmines

By donating to the Sole of Africa Campaign, you will immediately help save the lives of children just like Jeosepa, who lost her brother to an explosion as they played ten yards from their home. Thanks to our revolutionary technology that scans the earth at 100 sq. meters per second, once we have mapped a country, we reduce the average cost of eliminating landmines from over $1,000 to just $3 per mine, that is about ZAR 20.00 per landmine.

That means that for each $3 you give, you will for example, help eliminate a landmine that otherwise could maim or kill an innocent man, woman or child. Your donations will also help provide critical food, medicine and empowerment training to help turn the killing fields of Mozambique into a kitchen for Africa.

With the cost of mapping, de-mining, aid, goods and services programs that the Campaign is delivering, it is estimated that we have reduced the total "Makeover" overhead in Mozambique in monetary terms from over $1,500,000,000 to just $100 million. This is a remarkable savings for a solution that is clearly achievable.
